Hair Care Tips
Your hair extensions should be treated as your own hair.
It is recommended that you co-wash the hair before installing.
Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to clean between wefts and scalp because they are gentle and will cleanse without causing dryness. Rinse well with cool water.
To keep hair tangle free, lightly brush hair with a paddle brush. Start at the ends and work your way up to the root to avoid breakage from possible tangles.
Braid or twist hair at night if wearing wavy or curly bundles. Wrap hair if wearing straight bundles. Wear a satin scarf and/or cap to bed.
Avoid using products containing grease, heavy oils, alcohol, or sulfate.
Keep your hair extensions clean by washing every 2 weeks.
It is best to let your hair air dry. If you choose to use heat on your hair, whether by means of a blow dryer or styling tools, make sure to use a heat protectant.
For curly hair patterns:
To define, saturate hair with water, perhaps by means of a spray bottle.
Next, use a generous amount of leave-in conditioner to moisturize the hair (leave-in conditioner can also be combined with water in your spray bottle).
Detangle the hair using a detangling brush or wide tooth comb. The Denman brush gives the best results when defining curls.
If you choose to go a step further, you can use styling aids such as alcohol-free gel or mousse to give more definition and hold.
To avoid unnecessary frizz, do not touch the hair until it dries.
It is not recommended to complete this routine more than 3-5 times a week.
Wig Tips:
Lace has to be cut for to be worn once you receive the wig!
Use makeup or lace tint to help you lace blend in your skin color for a melted look.
Use a tiny bit of a light oil on the hair when needed. Example: Argan oil
To lay flyaways at the top of the wig, you can use, mousse and tie it down with , holding spray, or a wax stick. Our favorite wax stick is KeraCare Styling Wax Stick.
